Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled

Electrical Design Engineer

to handle customized electrical solution requirements. The role involves designing GA drawings, schematics, BOM preparation, prototype development, and ensuring smooth release of controlled drawings for production, procurement, and quality processes. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, possess strong documentation skills, and be capable of coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-specific solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Enquiry & Documentation

Address electrical customized solution enquiries received from sales/clients.Maintain accurate records of enquiries, specifications, and approvals.

Design & Drafting

Prepare customized GA drawings and electrical schematics in AutoCAD as per customer specifications.Revise and update drawings based on customer feedback and maintain revision history records.

Component/Child Parts Design

Create detailed child parts/component drawings used in customized solutions using AutoCAD.Maintain proper documentation and records for all drawings.

Customer Approval Process

Share customized drawings and schematics with the sales team for customer review and approval.Maintain documentation related to customer specifications, comments, and approvals.

Bill of Materials (BOM)

Prepare accurate BOM for customized solutions.Maintain BOM records for traceability and reference.

Infor LN System Activities

Generate components and finished good articles in Infor LN ERP system.Ensure data accuracy and maintain relevant records.

Prototype Development & Quality Approval

Prepare customized prototype samples for new solutions.Coordinate with quality team for inspection and approval of prototypes.Maintain records of sample approvals and inspection results.

Release to Production & Procurement

Release finalized customized solution and controlled drawings to production, purchase, and quality teams for mass manufacturing/procurement.Ensure latest revision-controlled drawings are issued and properly documented.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(2D Electrical drafting & schematic preparation).Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably

Infor LN

).Strong understanding of electrical components, GA drawings, and BOM preparation.Knowledge of design change/revision management and documentation control.Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and process-oriented approach.Ability to work collaboratively with sales, production, purchase, and quality teams.Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience Required

2–5 years

of experience in electrical design/drafting with customized solutions.

Prior Experience In Manufacturing/industrial Automation/electrical Solutions Industry Preferred.
