Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic

Sales & Service Engineer

who can generate business opportunities and provide technical support for industrial automation products and solutions. This dual-role position involves both customer acquisition and post-sales technical service, ensuring end-to-end client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for automation products and turnkey solutions.
Understand customer applications and propose suitable automation solutions, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo systems, industrial communication, and control panels tailored to their requirements.
Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals and presentations to clients.
Collaborate with the design and estimation team to prepare BOQs and quotations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Service

Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation systems.
Provide technical support to customers remotely or at site.
Ensure timely resolution of service-related issues; escalate complex problems when required.
Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
Prepare service reports and collect customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years in sales and/or service within the automation or industrial machinery sector.
Technical Skills:

Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo drives, and industrial communication protocols.
Hands-on experience in automation system installation and troubleshooting.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel for client visits and service calls.
