Description
Design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for control panels using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN). Specify components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, HMI, sensors, and terminal blocks based on project requirements. Ensure proper layout and spacing for wiring and components inside the control panel. Perform load calculations, circuit protection analysis, and voltage drop calculations. Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as UL 508A, NEC, IEC, or NFPA 79. Assist in performing risk assessments and ensuring safety measures are integrated into designs. Participate in the testing of assembled control panels to verify functionality, wiring integrity, and compliance with design specifications. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design or assembly issues during production and testing phases.
