Energy Commodity Trading and Risk Management - SME

You will be hired as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with solid experience in Commodity Trading and Risk Management. Your role will primarily involve working as a Solution Architect, providing Sales Support, and engaging in (Regional) Product Management within the Energy Solutions & Energy Market Data Business. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Energy Trading, Risk & Operations group to help gas & power, pipeline, energy trading, and industrial consumers manage physical & financial trading, risk/control, credit management, asset optimization, fuels management, power operations, gas operations, emissions compliance, and finance in a single solution. - Work with the Market Map group to complement the Energy group with data management, enhanced analytics, and charting from historical, end-of-day, and real-time data. - Provide market trends insights, regulatory guidance, and interdisciplinary product management to develop solutions in coordination with affiliated product lines. - Act as a regional product manager to create market packages, provide input for core products, and coach developers locally. - Support sales and pre-sales activities all over Asia and engage in early project phases as a senior subject matter expert. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of ETRM vendor and Data Provider functions and software usage in relevant markets. - Ability to prioritize and articulate customer needs to the product management function. - Hands-on experience with software products and modeling customer/industry scenarios. - In-depth knowledge of the international and particularly the Asian energy and commodity markets. - Decent IT background with strong industry contacts and ability to articulate industry trends and initiatives. - Marketing support including the production of key Asia marketing collateral and liaising with marketing for promotions. - Sales orientation to assist in developing sales strategies, enhancing product demos, and contributing to key sales calls.
