Embedded Hardware Engineer

Job Title: Part-Time Embedded Hardware Engineer
Location: Cochin, Kerala (On-site preferred)
Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours

About Us:
We are an innovative product development company working on engineering solutions across IoT, automation, energy systems, and smart devices. We're looking for a passionate and resourceful Embedded Hardware Engineer to join on a part-time basis and contribute to ongoing and upcoming product prototypes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded systems and electronic circuits
• Create and test PCBs using KiCad or similar tools
• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ and Python as needed
• Work on IoT modules, microcontrollers (ESP, Arduino, STM32, etc.)
• Perform simulations/analysis using MATLAB
• Design enclosures and mechanical parts using SolidWorks or similar
• Prototype via 3D printing, assembly, and testing
• Source components and handle material procurement
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and testing teams
• Support troubleshooting and validation during testing phases

Required Skills:

• Embedded programming (C/C++, MicroPython, etc.)
• Circuit design and PCB layout (KiCad preferred)
• Hands-on experience with IoT platforms (esp32, LoRa, BLE, etc.)
• Power electronics basics and hardware integration skills
• Simulation and modeling (MATLAB / Simulink)
• Mechanical CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or equivalent)
• Basic 3D modeling, printing, and assembly experience
• Material procurement and BOM management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Proven experience in building and testing hardware prototypes
• Passion for innovation and problem-solving
