Job Title: Part-Time Embedded Hardware Engineer Location: Cochin, Kerala (On-site preferred) Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours About Us: We are an innovative product development company working on engineering solutions across IoT, automation, energy systems, and smart devices. We're looking for a passionate and resourceful Embedded Hardware Engineer to join on a part-time basis and contribute to ongoing and upcoming product prototypes. Responsibilities: Design and develop embedded systems and electronic circuits Create and test PCBs using KiCad or similar tools Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ and Python as needed Work on IoT modules, microcontrollers (ESP, Arduino, STM32, etc.) Perform simulations/analysis using MATLAB Design enclosures and mechanical parts using SolidWorks or similar Prototype via 3D printing, assembly, and testing Source components and handle material procurement Collaborate with mechanical, software, and testing teams Support troubleshooting and validation during testing phases Required Skills: Embedded programming (C/C++, MicroPython, etc.) Circuit design and PCB layout (KiCad preferred) Hands-on experience with IoT platforms (esp32, LoRa, BLE, etc.) Power electronics basics and hardware integration skills Simulation and modeling (MATLAB / Simulink) Mechanical CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or equivalent) Basic 3D modeling, printing, and assembly experience Material procurement and BOM management Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field Proven experience in building and testing hardware prototypes Passion for innovation and problem-solving What We Offer: Flexible timing and compensation based on experience Exposure to hands-on hardware development and real-world prototyping Opportunity to contribute to diverse projects including IoT devices, controllers, and renewable energy systems If you think you’d make a great addition to the team, send us your CV and portfolio Job Types: Part-time, Freelance Contract length: 2 months Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work from home Work Location: In person
