Position Title: Hardware & Firmware Development Intern Location: Coimbatore Duration: Internship (3–6 months, extendable based on performance) About the Role We are seeking a passionate and curious Hardware & Firmware Development Intern to join our team. You will gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and debugging both electronic hardware and embedded firmware for our industrial automation and IoT products. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and testing of electronic circuits, including sensor interfaces, power supplies, and communication modules. Support firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, AVR, ESP32, etc.). Work on interfacing protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, Modbus, and RS-485. Help in PCB prototyping, soldering, and basic hardware troubleshooting. Participate in unit testing, debugging, and documentation of embedded systems. Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate hardware and firmware for real-world applications. Desired Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of basic electronics and embedded systems. Familiarity with any microcontrollers. Basic knowledge of C programming and good logical skills. Hands-on experience with lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply) is a plus. Exposure to IoT platforms (ThingsBoard, AWS IoT, MQTT) is an advantage. Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. Eligibility Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
