Position Title: Hardware & Firmware Development Intern

Location: Coimbatore
Duration: Internship (3–6 months, extendable based on performance)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and curious Hardware & Firmware Development Intern to join our team. You will gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and debugging both electronic hardware and embedded firmware for our industrial automation and IoT products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and testing of electronic circuits, including sensor interfaces, power supplies, and communication modules.
• Support firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, AVR, ESP32, etc.).
• Work on interfacing protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, Modbus, and RS-485.
• Help in PCB prototyping, soldering, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Participate in unit testing, debugging, and documentation of embedded systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate hardware and firmware for real-world applications.

Desired Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of basic electronics and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with any microcontrollers.
• Basic knowledge of C programming and good logical skills.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply) is a plus.
• Exposure to IoT platforms (ThingsBoard, AWS IoT, MQTT) is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
• Internship suited for freshers or 3rd / final-year students looking to build careers in embedded systems and electronics product development.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sundarapuram, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
