Job Title: Electronics Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and procure electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, connectors, sensors, and related materials from domestic & global vendors.
• Review engineering BOMs and coordinate with R&D / Production teams to understand component specifications and procurement needs.
• Identify reliable suppliers, obtain quotations, perform cost analysis, and negotiate pricing & commercial terms.
• Create and manage purchase orders, monitor lead times, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor lists, and price databases in ERP systems.
• Monitor market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations, especially for critical electronic parts.
• Evaluate supplier quality and support vendor audits, qualification, and onboarding.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for material tracking, import documentation, and inventory maintenance.
• Resolve supply chain issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns.

Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / EEE / ECE or related field

(MBA in Supply Chain / Logistics preferred)

• Minimum 2 years' experience in electronics procurement or supply chain
• Knowledge of electronic components, distributors, and semiconductor suppliers (e.g., Digi-Key, Mouser, Arrow, Avnet, Allied)
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel & MS Office
