Electrician

Role Description: This is a full-time on-site leadership role based in Bengaluru for an Electrical & PLC Programming Department Manager. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of electrical engineers and PLC programmers to design, develop, implement, and maintain advanced automation systems. The manager will oversee project planning, team coordination, and quality execution of all electrical and PLC programming tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and project management skills to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.   Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Electrical and PLC Programming Department, ensuring timely completion of all automation projects.Oversee the design,development, and validation of control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA. Supervise the electrical design, assembly, and commissioning of industrial automation systems. Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members. Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of systems. Approve and review all electrical drawings, BOMs, and PLC program logic before implementation. Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality procedures, and documentation for all projects. Troubleshoot complex automation and electrical issues during design, assembly, and commissioning. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and client communication. Stay updated on emerging automation technologies, protocols, and tools to enhance department capabilities. Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.  Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field. Minimum 8–12 years of experience in PLC programming and electrical design for automated industrial machinery, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role. Strong proficiency in PLC software (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Delta). Expertise in Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Sequential Function Chart programming. Experience with HMI, SCADA, and Data Traceability systems. Sound knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFIBUS). Proficient in electrical schematics, control panel design, and relevant CAD tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities. Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel across India for project execution and commissioning. Self-driven leader with a “Can-Do” attitude and ability to motivate teams toward goals.
