The role includes day-to-day supervision of electrical troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, documentation as per IATF 16949 standards, and supporting audit readiness through structured RCA and breakdown reporting. Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide a team of electricians to ensure smooth execution of electrical maintenance activities. Ensure timely response to electrical breakdowns and oversee restoration of services with minimal downtime. Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems, equipment, and plant utilities. Maintain and update documentation related to breakdown analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions as per IATF 16949 audit requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations. Support internal and external audits by maintaining records and implementing audit recommendations. Monitor energy consumption and suggest improvements for energy efficiency. Ensure availability of critical spares and raise indents for electrical materials and tools. Conduct daily reviews with the team and plan workload distribution based on plant requirements. Train and mentor junior electricians and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, etc.) for electrical support. Qualifications Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience: 3–5 years in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing plant environment. Skills: Strong leadership and team supervision abilities. Proficiency in preventive maintenance and electrical fault diagnosis. Familiarity with IATF 16949 documentation and audit preparation. Competency in MS Office and maintenance software. Knowledge of safety standards (IS/IEC) and energy-saving techniques.
