Electrical InCharge – Machine Shop (Drilling Industry)

Lead electrical maintenance and troubleshooting for a busy drilling machine shop, ensuring uptime, safety, and optimal performance of motors, VFDs, CNC/lathe machines, and welding/drilling support systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily electrical maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis for machine shop equipment.

• Manage, program, and troubleshoot VFDs, motors, PLCs and CNC/lathe-related electrical systems.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, spares inventory, and repair activities to minimize downtime.

• Support welding and drilling equipment electrical issues and assist production teams during breakdowns.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site PPE rules.

• Train and mentor junior electricians and contractors; maintain clear maintenance records and reports.

Required experience & skills

• 5–10 years in electrical maintenance at manufacturing or industrial sites.

• Proven expertise with motors, VFDs, CNC/lathe systems, welding and drilling support equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across control circuits, power distribution, and PLC/VFD interfaces.

• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices and safety compliance.

• Good communication, documentation skills, and ability to work under production pressures.

• Willingness to join immediately and relocate to Kakinada.
