Position Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Product Engineer to join our team in India. This role requires someone who:

• Can analyse system architecture end-to-end, electrical interfaces, processes, and product flows used within our client.
• Has the drive and courage to challenge status-quo, propose new ideas, define improvement paths, and influence technical decisions.
• Works with high autonomy, capable of defining tasks, priorities, and next steps proactively.
• Supports efficiency initiatives, cost-out opportunities and system standardization strategies across engineering, supply chain, commissioning and quality stakeholders.
• You will be embedded in the engineering team, contributing both technically and strategically to the evolu-tion of the product and its associated processes.

Desired qualifications

The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with solid experience in system architecture, LV/MV design, and product definition, including SLD creation, technical specifications, PLM ECR/ECO workflows, and de-velopment of conceptual and detailed engineering solutions. Strong knowledge of electrical standards, equipment sizing, protection and coordination, grounding/earthing, and control and monitoring architec-tures is required.

The role demands proven analytical capability to evaluate complex system interactions, identify inefficien-cies, and propose technical improvements or standardization paths. Experience interacting with cross-func-tional stakeholders (engineering, supply chain, commissioning, quality) is essential, as well as the ability to work autonomously, challenge assumptions, and drive decision-making. A high level of English proficiency, strong communication skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset are mandatory for success in this position.

Technical System Analysis

• Analyse system architecture, SLDs, component interactions and cross-domain dependencies.
• Identify inefficiencies, duplications, unnecessary variants, and redesign opportunities.
• Evaluate alternative solutions against requirements, standards and operational constraints.
• Create proposals for standardization, optimization and cost-out.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings with engineering, SCADA, compliance, supply chain and suppliers.
• Propose clear recommendations, decision criteria and alignment documents.
• Challenge assumptions with data, technical arguments and structured reasoning.
• Technical Background You are an electrical engineer with experience in:
• Product definition & system architecture.
• SLD, wiring diagrams, part/technical specifications.
• New product development, conceptual & detailed design.
• ECR/ECO processes and PLM workflows.
• Testing, troubleshooting and validation of LV systems.
• Customer integration and technical problem solving.
