About the Role

Electrical Maintenance Head

uninterrupted plant operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the

  plant-wide electrical maintenance

  of furnaces, casting lines, extrusion presses, rolling mills, annealing line, druid recycling and manage overall plant facility.
• Manage

  HT/LT substations (33/11/ kV)

  , transformers, switchgear, and power distribution networks.
• Oversee

  PLC/SCADA/DCS systems

  , variable frequency drives (VFDs), and process automation.
• Implement

  preventive and predictive maintenance

  programs to achieve maximum uptime and reliability (MTBF/MTTR targets).
• Drive

  energy optimization

  and ensure compliance with statutory standards.
• Lead

  electrical safety

  , LOTO systems, and statutory inspections.
• Team leader of engineers & technicians – fostering a culture of ownership, skill development, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and control maintenance budgets, spare management, and vendor coordination.
• Lead modernization & automation upgrade projects for improved efficiency and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualification:

  B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant and higher qualifications is plus.

• Experience:

  10–20 years in electrical maintenance of

  continuous process or heavy manufacturing plants

  (preferably non-ferrous metal / copper / aluminum / steel sector).
• Proven expertise in

  power distribution, PLC/SCADA, energy management.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and planning abilities with a focus on operational excellence.
• Familiarity with

  ISO 50001/ ISO 45001

  systems for H

  ealth & safety management and energy management.
