electrical lab in‑charge, lab operations, calibration, documentation, audit readiness, CAPA, quality assurance, Sonipat, immediate joiner, B.Tech electrical, household appliance lab, performance testing, endurance testing, certification audits, root‑cause analysis, lab management, appliance compliance, test protocols, corrective action, electrical OTG, oven toaster griller, kitchen chimney, mixer‑grinder, electric kettle, electrical appliance testing, BIS compliance, BIS CRS, TUV Rheinland, safety standards, ISO 17025, IS 60335, IS 60529,safety. **** Key Responsibilities Lab Operations & Maintenance Manage day‑to‑day functioning of the electrical‑appliance test lab (OTG, chimneys, mixer‑grinders, electrical kettles, etc.). Ensure all equipment is calibrated, serviced, and compliant with BIS & TUV requirements. Testing & Compliance Plan, conduct, and document performance, safety, and endurance tests for home‑appliance prototypes and production lots. Lead BIS pre‑compliance and surveillance audits; coordinate with auditors and certification bodies. Quality & Documentation Own complete technical documentation: test protocols, results, corrective‑action reports, traceability logs, and calibration records. Drive root‑cause analyses and implement CAPA for any non‑conformities identified during internal or external audits. Team & Stakeholder Coordination Supervise technicians; train them on new test methods, safety procedures, and 5S practices. Liaise with R&D, manufacturing, and supplier‑quality teams to close technical gaps and fast‑track approvals. Continuous Improvement Monitor industry standards (IS/IEC) updates; recommend lab upgrades to maintain state‑of‑the‑art capability. Champion energy‑efficiency and safety best practices across the facility. Required Qualifications & Experience Criterion Must‑Have Desired Education B.Tech. / B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering — Experience 3–4 years in appliance testing / electrical compliance labs Exposure to ISO 17025 lab management Standards & Audits Hands‑on with BIS CRS, TUV Rheinland/Intertek audits Familiarity with IEC 60335, IEC 60529 Tools & Equipment OTG, chimney, mixer‑grinder, kettle test rigs; thermal cameras, power analyzers, hi‑pot testers Data‑acquisition & LabView systems Documentation Proficient in drafting test reports, SOPs, calibration logs Core Competencies Strong grasp of electrical‑safety norms and household‑appliance standards. Meticulous documentation and audit‑readiness mindset. Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs. Good verbal & written communication in English & Hindi.
