As an Electrical and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer at Sundyne, your role involves providing engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities include studying project specifications, ensuring product safety, developing control packages, and creating system specifications for Control Systems and machinery monitoring systems. You will be required to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, develop PLC code, prepare documentation, and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests. Additionally, you will troubleshoot communication networks, specify instrumentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory codes. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of automation systems, electrical design, instrumentation, industrial IT, and hazardous area classifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with industrial equipment like pumps and compressors, and programming skills for Rockwell/Siemens PLC and HMI platforms are essential. Strong project management skills, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and willingness to travel internationally for field support are also required. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Electrical engineering or equivalent with at least 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
