The position at Sundyne involves providing electrical, control & instrumentation (C&I) engineering support throughout the project management and operations cycle. Responsibilities include studying project and customer specifications to develop control packages, maintaining product safety, designing Control Systems and machinery monitoring systems, creating procedures and documentation, interpreting blueprints and diagrams, generating PLC Code and other controls documentation, preparing Factory Acceptance Test procedures, troubleshooting communications networks, specifying instrumentation, following regulatory codes, managing multiple projects, and traveling for field support and customer meetings. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of automation systems, be familiar with Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical processes, possess knowledge of hazardous area electrical classification and international requirements, be proficient in AutoCAD and drafting software, have experience with MCC circuitry and VFDs, be skilled in programming Rockwell/Siemens PLC and HMI platforms, and have knowledge of industrial communication protocols. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Electrical engineering or equivalent, along with 6-9 years or more of related work experience.
