Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer in the Chemical Division will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in chemical manufacturing and processing environments. The role requires ensuring electrical safety, compliance with industrial regulations, and high reliability of power systems supporting production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain electrical control systems for chemical process machinery and equipment.

2. Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic for new and existing process units.

3. Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards and relevant codes (NEC, IEC, IS, etc.).

4. Perform fault analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to reduce downtime.

5. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, switchgear, and control panels.

6. Collaborate with the maintenance and instrumentation teams for system upgrades and optimization of process automation.

7. Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations for safety and performance.

8. Maintain accurate records of electrical drawings, test results, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.

9. Train and guide technicians in safe work practices and proper electrical procedures.

10. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for procurement, repairs, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

2. 3–7 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in chemical, petrochemical, or process industries.

3. Familiarity with DCS, SCADA, VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, transformers, and industrial power distribution.

4. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and hazardous area classifications.

5. Proven troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with industrial electrical equipment.

6. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
