Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in EPLAN P8 to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and documentation for industrial control systems, automation projects, and machinery using EPLAN software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EPLAN.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, panel wiring, and shop floor practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of control systems, circuit design, and electrical components.
• Understanding of PLC systems, motor control, field devices, and industrial automation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with standards such as IEC 60204, UL 508A, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), cable schedules, terminal diagrams, and other project documentation.
• Understand and interpret customer specifications, industry standards (IEC, UL, etc.), and integrate them into design.
• Collaborate with mechanical, PLC, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and timely delivery.
• Create project-specific EPLAN macros, symbol libraries, and standard templates.
• Coordinate with panel builders and production teams during manufacturing and testing phases.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and support during commissioning if required.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices.
• Update and maintain electrical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of control systems, circuit design, and electrical components.
• Understanding of PLC systems, motor control, field devices, and industrial automation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with standards such as IEC 60204, UL 508A, etc.
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
