Electrical Engineer - Design & Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in Air Pollution Control (APC) systems, particularly in Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of electrical systems related to APC equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for ESP and other APC equipment, including power supply, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams (SLDs), and BOMs using CAD software.
• Select and size electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and PLCs.
• Work closely with mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams to ensure integration of electrical systems.
• Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
• Conduct load calculations, fault current analysis, and grounding system design.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of ESP systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for procurement and technical evaluation of electrical equipment.
• Ensure documentation and project deliverables are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in air pollution control or ESP systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Familiarity with power electronics, high voltage systems, and industrial control systems.
• Understanding of control logic, PLC programming, and HMI interfaces is a plus.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and commissioning support.

Preferred:

• Experience with Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD), bag filters, or other APC technologies.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and environmental compliance regulations.
• Certification in electrical safety standards or design practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
