Electrical Design Engineer

Location:

Job Summary

We are looking for a

Electrical Design Engineer

with strong experience in the

design, development, and testing of power electronics components

such as

converters, inverters, battery chargers

, and

embedded control systems

. The role involves working on innovative electrical solutions for

HVAC and Transport Refrigeration systems

in an automotive-like environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

electrical modeling and simulation

DFMEA

embedded microprocessor systems

, and

regulatory compliance testing

(HALT, EMC). Knowledge in

Altium, PLM systems (Windchill)

, and exposure to

NPD processes

is highly preferred.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in electrical product design and power electronics development.
Strong experience with converter/inverter design, embedded microcontroller-based systems, and analog/digital circuits.
Hands-on experience with DFMEA, test plan creation, and executing qualification programs.
Proficiency in modeling & simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Dymola).
Experience with regulatory testing processes, including HALT and EMC.
Good understanding of electrical safety standards and protocols for mobile AC/DC voltage systems.
Familiarity with PLM systems (Windchill) and hardware design tools like Altium.
