ELECTRICAL DESIGN LEAD JOB DESCRIPTION The role would outline leadership responsibilies, technical experse, and project management skills. The role would involve leading design teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical experse to projects. This role is designed to interpret the customers technical enquiry and to design the most cost-eecve overall solu¢on for an HVDC installa¢on u¢lizing the PES power electronics solu¢ons, aiming to minimise the total cost, and to specify the main (high-value) items of bought-out equipment for HVDC Projects. The candidate shall execute with associa¢on of workgroups, where applicable, in order to meet assigned objec¢ves. In this role you will work within dened parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate ac¢on or short-term planning. The current role is expected to deliver ITO/OTR for HVDC&AC Grid projects. Strong fundamental competency on projects on HVDC, EHV/HV Designs of Grid substa¢on (AIS & GIS) is pre-requisite. The successful candidate will be part of an established team of experienced power systems engineer which will provide them with various opportuni¢es to develop their skills in the eld of high voltage AC and DC power system design via mentoring by Systems Expert. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. HV (Primary) designs up to 400 KV substa¢on engineering for Grid Interconnected renewable Energy Projects 2. Prepara¢on of basic SLD, Layout plan & Sec¢on of Overall plant, Equipment control room building, Earthing Layout, DSLP Layout, Trench Layout, etc. 3. To promote safe behaviour at all ¢mes 4. To provide discipline specic design and dra¢ing services that meet the Projects, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements 5. Experience on FEED and Detail design projects 6. To provide technical support to the team during design, engineering and construc¢on. 7. Preparing Op¢oneering Layout, Layouts, Sec¢ons, Eleva¢ons, Single Line Diagram, Key Line Diagram, Electrical Details engineering drawings 8. Prepara¢on and checking of all types of Electrical Layout design deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, Mechanical Package Drawings, 3D Models in Revit, Civil 3D, Electrical or Instrument Cable layouts etc. 9. Interdisciplinary check of all Civil / Structural / Piping / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumenta¢on drawings 10. Review of vendor drawings for Equipment / Package items 11. Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD and MicroSta¢on 12. To assist in the coordina¢on of all ac¢vi¢es related to the discipline 13. Prepara¢on Single line diagrams, Control & Protec¢on schemes, interconnec¢on diagrams and Block diagrams. 14. Equipment layout plan, sec¢ons and stage by stage drawings for Power plants and high voltage substa¢ons 15. Strong conceptualiza¢on ability, interpersonal communica¢on and organiza¢onal skills are a must. Candidates must have good oral and wri¢en communica¢on skills, be willing to travel, and work successfully in a customer focused, project - oriented environment. 2.
