Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic
Education Counselor
to guide and support students in making informed academic and career choices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students, explaining course offerings, and helping them align their educational goals with our programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students (and parents, if needed) on educational programs and admission procedures.
- Provide accurate information regarding courses, eligibility, and career outcomes.
- Handle inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, or online platforms) and follow up with leads.
- Maintain a database of student inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
- Assist in organizing and conducting seminars, webinars, workshops, and campus visits.
- Guide students through the admission process, including application submission, document verification, and fee payment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students to support enrollment goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to improve counseling strategies and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or related field preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of educational counseling processes and career options.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to handle multiple inquiries and work under pressure.
- Experience in the education or counseling field is an advantage.
