Managing the traceability and configuration of tools used by his/her team. Identify and nurture talent within the team, recognizing and fostering the potential of team members. Responsible for : Collaborate with subject matter experts to thoroughly comprehend the requirements and constraints within our domain/metier. Facilitate discussions and gather essential insights to inform decision-making. Develop comprehensive communication action plans that consider target audiences and defined objectives, ensuring effective dissemination of information. Identify and address conflicts of interest within the domain/metier, maintaining composure and confidence during resolution processes. Maintain an optimistic outlook while critically challenging project estimations to ensure realistic timelines and resource allocation. Drive your team to analyze lessons learned (REX) across projects and apply these insights to continuous improvement efforts. Develop and mentor team members within their respective roles. Organize and delegate tasks efficiently to ensure optimal resource utilization and project progress. Use appropriate forms of communication (verbal, written, text, graphic, formal, informal) with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective information exchange. Recognize and escalate issues based on their criticality, involving yourself when necessary to defuse volatile situations and find resolutions. Job Specifications Knowledge & Experience Extensive hands-on experience in the complete software development life cycle across two or more projects, including requirement gathering, analysis, architecture design, and integration with at least 12 years of experience. Managed a team of 5 to 8 engineers to ensure the achievement of QCD KPIs (at least 3 years). Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) (at least 2 years), Experience in developing in IEC61131-3 (FBD, ST and SFC) software or using model-based development tools like Controlbuild, MATLAB / Simulink etc. Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and their functioning. Knowledge of real time network protocols like MVB, CIP, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485 etc Managing work packages for sub-contractors.
