Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end system architectures for AI-powered admissions and student services platforms
• Lead technical discussions with university stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable solutions
• Architect integrations between AI systems, CRMs, student information systems, and document management platforms
• Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for the engineering team
• Conduct system performance analysis and optimization
• Lead proof-of-concept development for new AI capabilities
• Mentor development teams and drive architectural decision-making
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across all technical solutions
  

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in system design and architecture
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred) and microservices architecture
• Expertise in designing REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
• Experience with AI/ML system integration and deployment
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java preferred)
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and performance optimization
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of security frameworks, authentication, and authorization patterns
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EdTech, CRM, or document processing domains
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and integration patterns
• Understanding of compliance requirements (FERPA, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Experience with LLM integration and vector databases
• Certification in cloud architecture (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
