Job Description

Beauty, Personal Care, and D2C/E-commerce

If you have a proven track record of designing high-converting e-commerce websites and crafting engaging digital marketing assets specifically for this industry, we want to hear from you!

🌟 Key Responsibilities:1. E-commerce Website Design & Optimization
  • Design & Development:

     Design and/or re-design visually stunning, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive e-commerce websites (preferably on 

    Shopify

     or a similar D2C platform).
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

     Implement best practices for product page layouts, checkout flows, and site navigation to maximize conversion rates.
  • UX/UI Focus:

     Ensure exceptional user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design that reflects the brand aesthetic and drives customer engagement.
  • A/B Testing:

     Suggest and implement A/B tests on landing pages, banners, and other site elements to improve performance.
2. Digital Marketing Content Creation
  • Asset Design:

     Create high-quality, on-brand visual assets for digital marketing channels, including:
  • Social media ad creatives (stills and short videos/gifs).
  • Email marketing templates/graphics.
  • Website banners and promotional graphics.
  • Campaign Conceptualization:

     Assist in translating marketing strategy into compelling visual campaigns that resonate with the target beauty and personal care consumer.
🎯 Must-Have Experience:
  • Industry Focus (Crucial):

     Proven experience designing websites and creating marketing content specifically for the 

    Beauty, Skincare, Cosmetics, or Personal Care

     industry.
  • E-commerce/D2C Expertise:

     Strong understanding of the 

    D2C (Direct-to-Consumer)

     model and the specific needs of high-growth e-commerce brands. Experience handling high-traffic sites is a plus.
  • Platform Proficiency:

     Expert-level proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., 

    Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite

    ) and strong working knowledge of e-commerce platforms like 

    Shopify/Shopify Plus

    .
  • Portfolio:

     A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce design and digital ad creatives in the relevant industries.
💡 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager data).
  • Experience with front-end coding (HTML/CSS) for minor site tweaks.
  • Experience in video editing for short-form social media ads.
