E-commerce Testing Specialist (AI-Enabled)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an innovative E-commerce Testing Specialist with expertise in e-commerce workflows and experience leveraging AI-driven tools for enhanced testing. This role focuses on validating functionality, integrating AI-based quality checks, and ensuring a seamless, intuitive digital shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end functional testing of e-commerce modules: browsing, cart, checkout, payments, and order tracking.
• Utilize AI-based tools for regression automation, test case generation, and anomaly detection.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) alongside business stakeholders before releases.
• Identify defects (including through AI-driven analytics), log them, and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
• Validate integrations with external systems: ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, Logistics.
• Create and maintain manual and AI-generated test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites.
• Implement AI/ML models to predict defect-prone areas and optimize test coverage.

Business & Functional Analysis:

• Map business requirements into functional and AI-enabled test cases.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and prepare BRDs/FSDs.
• Translate business workflows into automated and manual testable cases using AI-based test management platforms.
• Ensure comprehensive functional coverage across different user journeys.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Participate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, demos, retrospectives to ensure QA readiness.
• Provide input for process improvement and quality optimization, leveraging AI analytics for continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare detailed test summary reports and AI-generated defect metrics.
• Maintain updated traceability matrices linking requirements, AI analytics, and test cases.
• Support release readiness reviews with evidence-based AI-driven validation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2-4 years of functional or QA testing experience in e-commerce platforms.
• Hands-on with Shopify, Salesforce, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom-built e-commerce systems.
• Strong understanding of API testing, data validation, and system integration.
• Experience with AI-based testing tools (e.g., for test automation, anomaly detection, reporting).
• Ability to write/manage test cases, BRDs, UAT documentation, and leverage AI scripting platforms.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail, user experience, and strong collaboration skills.
• Passion for learning new AI-driven testing methodologies and advancing QA automation maturity.
