Job Description: E-Commerce Manager / Executive

Department: E-Commerce / Sales & Marketing

Location: Chandni Chawk, Kolkata

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 0.6–2 years

Salary: 10-15K

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and organized E-Commerce professional to manage and grow our company’s online business across multiple marketplaces. The role involves handling overall e-commerce operations — including product listing, inventory coordination, pricing, promotions, performance analysis, and relationship management with marketplace partners — to ensure consistent business growth and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Operations & Management

Manage product listings, catalog updates, pricing, stock availability, and order processing across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart, etc.

Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Maintain accurate product information including images, specifications, and content.

Handle returns, claims, and reconciliation with marketplaces.

Monitor stock movement and plan inventory replenishment as per sales trend.

Sales Growth & Marketing Activities

Plan and execute promotional activities, offers, and seasonal campaigns to increase sales.

Track and analyze sales performance, pricing, and profit margins.

Manage advertising panels and sponsored listings on e-commerce portals.

Ensure brand consistency and visibility across all marketplaces.

Collaborate with design/content teams for product creatives, banners, and store branding.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance reports.

Analyze competitor listings, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Recommend strategies for pricing, assortment, and campaign planning.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

0.6-2 years of experience in managing e-commerce operations and sales (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).

Strong understanding of marketplace dashboards (Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.).

Good analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in MS Excel.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple platforms and meet operational deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in account management or marketplace coordination.

Knowledge of cataloging tools, listing optimization, and order management systems.

Understanding of basic digital promotion techniques and reporting metrics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
