Job Description

Primary role:

Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Consultant

About The Opportunity

Join Techwise Digital as a remote Dynamics 365 ERP Technical resource based in India. You will design, build, and deliver robust D365 F&O solutions—customizations, extensions, integrations, and data migrations—working closely with functional consultants, architects, and client stakeholders to deliver production-ready ERP capabilities in cloud environments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement D365 F&O technical solutions: X++ extensions, custom classes, tables, forms, and batch jobs following best-practice extension patterns.
  • Manage deployments and environment lifecycles using LCS and Azure DevOps—build pipelines, automated tests, and release tasks to production.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and performance tuning guidelines; troubleshoot production incidents and implement fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs and mentor junior developers on best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 6+ years hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX 2012 technical development (X++).
  • Strong X++ coding, Extensions framework, C#/.NET, and Visual Studio development skills.
  • Proven experience with data entities, data migration, SQL Server, and SSRS report development.
  • Experience building integrations (REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, middleware, SSIS) and working with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with LCS, environment management, and performance troubleshooting in cloud-hosted D365 landscapes.
  • Good communication skills, Agile delivery experience, and ability to work remotely with distributed teams.

Preferred

  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or related technologies and exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps).
  • Experience with integrations to common ERP peripherals (WMS,CRM,third-party logistics) and knowledge of security/role-based access in D365.
