**Job Description:** As the Property Manager on Duty at the property, your primary responsibility is to oversee all property operations and ensure the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided to guests. You will be representing property management in resolving any guest or property related situations and managing the flow of questions while directing guests within the lobby. Additionally, you will serve as the Guest Relations Manager and handle the tracking of service issues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain a strong working relationship with all departments to support property operations and goals - Communicate any variations to established norms to the appropriate department in a timely manner - Send a copy of the Manager on Duty (MOD) report to all departments daily - Strive to improve service performance and ensure compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures - Review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives - Intervene in guest/employee situations as needed to maintain property integrity and achieve guest satisfaction - Empower employees to provide excellent customer service and provide immediate assistance to guests - Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints while ensuring employees understand customer service expectations - Conduct regular inspection tours of the facility for appearance, safety, staffing, security, and maintenance - Celebrate successes and publicly recognize the contributions of team members - Ensure employees are cross-trained to support daily operations and administer property policies fairly and consistently - Understand and implement emergency plans as necessary **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major from an accredited university, with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area **About the Company:** At Marriott International, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer that values and celebrates the unique backgrounds of our associates.
