Role Description (Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Mumbai)

This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions, using Duck Creek Technology, Example Server, Example Author, and Example Express. Daily tasks include configuring Business Rules, Designing in Express3 and Express2. The role requires a strong foundation in computer science and proficiency in software development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Experience range:

• 3–5 years

  of hands-on experience working with

  Duck Creek Policy

  (implementation, configuration, or support), or equivalent project experience.

P&C insurance

• Lines of Business (LOBs),
• Policy lifecycle (Transactions, Task, Rating Changes),
• Rating and premium calculation,
• Policy forms and attachments.

Duck Creek components

• Author, Express, Policy, Manuscript, Forms, TSV, Data Tester, Trace Monitor.

• Strong English communication skills for

  client and internal stakeholder interactions

  .

Foundation Skills(Must Have):

• Proficiency in Python and one of {C/C++/Java}.
• Strong foundations in DSA and SOLID design principles.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS (SQLite/Postgres) and SQL.
• Experience with Git workflows (branches, PRs, reviews) and a
• solid understanding of OS/Networking (processes, threads, memory, TCP/IP, HTTP).
• Azure fundamentals.
• Familiarity with server-side and client-side frameworks.
• Awareness of threads, async/await, and concepts like race conditions and deadlocks.
