Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE/WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key activities:

  • Develop iterations of technical builds based on requirements outlined by their Digital Specialist lead and customer feedback
  • Perform continuous QA/QC on technical builds
  • Provide remote support on the day-of-event

Inputs:

  • Project scopes and specialist guidance on service requests
  • Customer input, including ideas on the ideal user-experience and content decisions
  • Feedback on build quality, technical expertise and customer handling

Outputs (in-line with inputs):

  • Specialized approaches for customer groups that focus on individualized needs
  • Completed digital solutions with best practice configuration and design
  • Continuous learning and development to become domain experts in given technology. Seek mentorship from Digital Specialists to fill any skill-gaps.


YOU’RE GOOD AT

IT Project Management

  • Ability to set timelines and expectations with customer to ensure successful builds
  • Ability to keep organized and clearly communicate across cross-functional teams
  • Ability/comfort with managing deliverable timelines

Technical expertise

  • HTML/CSS coding experience (good to have)
  • Subject matter expertise on platform capabilities and integrated solutions
  • Ability to identify downstream technical impacts based on customer requests
  • Ability to consult on and design event workflow/architecture to meet business requirements for each event
  • Ability to create and test solutions to meet business goals
  • Designing comprehensive procedures for conducting UAT processes for project deliverables
  • Ability to create support documentation for all supported digital products & services

Visual Design & UX

  • Experience and ability to assist customers in choosing the proper design principles to improve the look and enhance the feel of the platform
  • Ability to approach designs from a user-first perspective and advise customers
  • Understand principles of interaction design and information architecture
  • Ensure quality, clarity & consistency of all content managed

Consultative approach

  • Well versed in customer-service skills, strong communication & presentation skills
  • Demonstrate effective questioning/listening skills in order to ascertain business requirements
  • Acts as advisor regarding technology solutions, features, and functionality based on event needs, system capabilities, and best practices

Communication

  • Effectively explain technical and design concepts to customer in way they can understand to help guide them on the best solution
  • Escalate technical issues and timeline related concerns via the channel that is most appropriate for the project context


DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Technology, Business, or related field
  • Work experience of 2-5 years in a multi-national company or a global setting, particularly in finance teams
  • Ability to work in shifts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
