Position Summary & Background We are seeking a qualified and experienced Drone Pilot Instructor to lead training programs for aspiring drone pilots. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on flying experience, knowledge of drone regulations, and a passion for teaching. The role involves both theoretical and practical instruction in drone operation, safety, regulations, and maintenance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Conduct classroom and field training sessions for drone pilot trainees · Teach theoretical aspects: aerodynamics, airspace classifications, regulations (DGCA/FAA), safety protocols, etc. · Provide hands-on flight training with different UAV platforms (multirotor and/or fixed-wing) · Prepare and assess trainees through tests, evaluations, and practical demonstrations · Ensure adherence to all aviation safety standards and guidelines · Maintain training records, progress reports, and certification logs · Conduct flight demonstrations and workshops when required · Keep up to date with drone technology, regulations, and industry practices · Support curriculum development and improvement based on feedback and trends Required Skills · 2+ (minimum) years working experience as Drone Pilot. · Excellent Communication Skills · Valid Remote Pilot Certificate (DGCA / FAA Part 107 or equivalent) · Proven experience as a commercial or professional drone operator (minimum 1–3 years preferred) · Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an advantage · Familiarity with drone software (e.g., DJI GO, QGroundControl, Pix4D, DroneDeploy, etc.) · Strong understanding of UAV regulations, airspace classifications, and flight safety · Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills · Ability to troubleshoot UAV hardware and software issues · Flexibility to travel for field training sessions if required Additional Skills · Fluent in English. · Experience of Assembling Drones Preffered but not necessary / Experience in IOT Devices · Experience in drone-based applications (e.g., agriculture, surveying, cinematography, inspection) · Knowledge of GIS and data processing tools is a plus Basic Qualifications Aeronautical Engineering / BSC Physics, Mathematics / BCA , MCA / BTech (Electronics , Electrical) Show more Show less
