Job Description: Car Driver Position Summary: A car driver is responsible for transporting passengers or goods in a safe and timely manner. They must follow traffic laws, maintain their vehicle, and ensure the comfort and safety of their passengers or cargo. Key Responsibilities: Driving : Safely operating a vehicle to transport passengers or goods to their destination. Navigation : Planning routes using GPS systems or maps to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals. Vehicle Maintenance : Performing basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil, water, and tire pressure, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and in good working condition. Customer Service : Providing excellent customer service by being polite, helpful, and accommodating to passengers' needs. Record Keeping : Maintaining logs of trips, vehicle inspections, and any incidents. Compliance : Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Safety : Ensuring the safety of passengers or cargo by following safety procedures and reporting any issues promptly. Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License : A valid and clean driving license. Experience : Prior experience as a driver is often preferred but not always required. Knowledge of Routes : Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns. Communication Skills : Good verbal communication skills to interact with passengers or clients. Physical Fitness : Ability to sit for long periods and handle the physical demands of driving. Punctuality and Reliability : Being punctual and dependable to meet schedules and deadlines. Working Conditions: Drivers may work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work environment can vary from urban to rural areas. Exposure to various weather conditions.
