Driver

A restaurant driver's job involves safely and efficiently delivering food orders, ensuring freshness and accuracy, handling payments, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the delivery vehicle and equipment, all while following traffic laws and food safety guidelines for a great customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Order Management: Pick up, verify, and accurately pack orders from the kitchen.
• Delivery Execution: Transport food on assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery and food quality (hot food stays hot, cold food stays cold).
• Customer Service: Greet customers, provide order status updates, collect payments (cash/card), handle tips, and resolve any issues professionally.
• Navigation: Use GPS and local knowledge to navigate efficiently.
• Vehicle & Equipment: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained; maintain delivery bags/equipment.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Reporting: Log deliveries, report issues, and complete any required paperwork.

Key Requirements & Skills

• License & Vehicle: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and typically a reliable personal vehicle with insurance (though some employers offer vehicles).
• Skills: Time management, strong communication, navigation, customer service, reliability, and attention to detail.
