Domestic Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Domestic Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial documentation, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  
• Handle

  invoice preparation, vendor payments, and customer billing

  .
• Prepare and maintain

  books of accounts

  (Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho or any accounting software).
• Perform monthly

  bank reconciliation

  and maintain cash flow records.
• Ensure timely filing and compliance for

  GST, TDS, PF, ESI

  regulations.
• Support internal and external audits with required financial data.
  
• Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, purchase orders, payroll, and expense statements.
  
• Assist in the preparation of

  P&L statements and balance sheets

  .
• Coordinate with management on budgeting and financial planning tasks.
  
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up for payments.
  
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  
• 2–5+ years of experience in Indian accounting processes.
  
• Proficiency in

  Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting tools

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  GST, TDS, Income Tax

  and statutory rules.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication and documentation management skills.
  

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in payroll processing.
  
• Knowledge of corporate finance and MIS reporting.
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
