About this opportunity:
Ericsson is currently looking for an experienced Domain Support Specialist who is passionate about maintaining and enhancing our technical capabilities in Automated Operations of Services. The successful candidate will handle a range of responsibilities, including diagnosis, rapid domain support, routine resource fulfillment, on-site technical support, in addition to organizing, managing, and conducting both proactive and reactive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain mediation platforms with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.
Design and implement rules for data filtering, deduplication, and enrichment before delivery to downstream systems.
Collaborate with network, IT, and billing teams to ensure seamless data integration across platforms.
Understand, configure, and tune mediation rules for efficient high-volume CDR processing.
Perform data reconciliation across network elements, mediation, and billing systems to ensure data integrity.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in mediation and billing data in a timely manner.
Monitor mediation system health and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for mediation-related incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with telecom mediation platforms (e.g., DigitalRoute, Comptel, or similar).
Proficiency in SQL and Linux/Unix shell scripting.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Strong understanding of telecom network architecture and concepts.
Familiarity with key network elements: MSC, MME, SGSN, GGSN, PCRF, OCS, IN, SGW, SMF.
Awareness of telecom billing, revenue assurance, and fraud detection practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mediation in a 5G or hybrid 4G/5G environment.
Exposure to OSS/BSS frameworks and industry-standard data models.
Knowledge of cloud-native tools and DevOps practices is a plus.
