Document Controller

As a Document Management professional, you will be responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining document registers and databases. Your role will involve uploading documents and ensuring accurate and timely distribution. Managing document versions, revisions, and implementing retention policies will be crucial aspects of your daily tasks. Your compliance and accuracy duties will include ensuring that all documents adhere to internal and external regulations and standards. You will review documents for accuracy, making necessary revisions to maintain quality and integrity. You will be in charge of tracking documents throughout their lifecycle, from creation to distribution and disposal. Managing document access and security to uphold confidentiality will be a key focus to safeguard sensitive information. Collaboration and communication skills are essential as you will coordinate with project teams and other departments to facilitate document exchange. Providing support and guidance to project teams regarding document management will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to type contracts, archive files, and ensure all team members have access to necessary documentation. Setting up project filing systems, maintaining file backups, managing vendors and their documentation, and preparing documents for audits will also fall under your purview. The ideal candidate for this role should have 2 to 3 years of experience in document management. This position is based in Mumbai, and the salary range will be determined based on qualification and experience.,
