Director Technology- IT Consulting

As a Senior Leader in a leading IT Services Organization, you will be responsible for leading the technology team within the India Delivery Center, ensuring alignment with global strategy and objectives. You will manage relationships with service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and collaborate with global technology teams to implement and maintain technology standards and best practices. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing end-user support services, managing application support services, and ensuring efficient laptop support services for the local team. You will also be responsible for implementing and managing IT security measures to protect the technology environment from threats and vulnerabilities. You will develop and execute technology strategies that support the business objectives of the India Delivery Center, identify opportunities for technology improvements and innovations, and work with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with overall business goals. Monitoring and reporting on the performance of technology services to ensure they meet established service level agreements will also be part of your role. Engagement with key stakeholders, effective communication to provide updates on technology initiatives and service performance, and ensuring compliance with global IT policies and standards are also important aspects of this position. The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Extensive experience in IT management, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, and in-depth knowledge of IT support services, application support, laptop support, and IT security are required. Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-functional teams is also essential. Preferred skills include experience with enterprise technology platforms and services, familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in India, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
