Job Summary: The Strategy Lead will be a pivotal member of the marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. This individual will act as a strategic partner, responsible for driving high-priority projects, providing in-depth analytical support, and preparing updates and reviews for leadership and business stakeholders. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide critical support and leadership to the team during peak periods. Responsibilities: Strategic Project Leadership: Take ownership of key marketing initiatives from conception to successful completion. This includes defining project scopes, creating detailed plans, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Leadership Reviews & Communication: Develop and deliver compelling presentations that communicate marketing strategies, project updates, and performance analytics to the company's senior leadership and business Stakeholders. Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Dive deep into marketing data and market research to extract actionable insights. Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to the Head of Marketing to inform strategic decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional projects, fostering seamless collaboration between the marketing, sales, product, and technology teams to ensure alignment and achievement of project goals. Team Empowerment & Support: Act as an additional layer of support for the marketing team, particularly during high-pressure "crunch" periods. This includes assisting with workload management, providing guidance, and helping to overcome obstacles to ensure the team's overall success. Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to enhance the marketing department's operational efficiency. Develop and implement new processes and systems to streamline workflows and boost productivity. Requirements: A minimum of 6 years of professional/entrepreneurial experience. 1-3 years of direct experience within the marketing domain is essential. Proven track record in a consulting, entrepreneurial, or 'founder's office' role is highly desirable. Exceptional Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Superior Presentation & Communication Skills: The ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and persuasive presentations for an executive audience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Strong Stakeholder Management: A natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Analytical Acumen: A solid understanding of data analytics and market research principles, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
