We are currently incubating a stealth media-tech venture focused on reinventing digital engagement, public campaigns, and narrative infrastructure through AI, creative strategy, and performance-driven content. 

Role Summary

We are hiring a DOP / Camera Person who can also independently handle editing to produce high-quality branded videos and short films. The role involves owning the visual capture during production and supporting the project through post-production to ensure the final film looks premium, aligns with brand expectations, and is delivered within timelines. 

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Set / Production

    

• Own the camera and lighting approach for shoots, including shot design, framing, movement, exposure, and visual look. 
• Collaborate with the director/creative team on moodboards, visual references, lenses, lighting plans, and shot lists. 
• Operate the camera (or lead the camera team) and coordinate clean audio capture with the sound recordist when required. 
• Manage gear such as camera bodies, lenses, gimbals/handheld/tripod setups, lights, and basic grip requirements. 
• Ensure footage is technically strong: focus, stabilization, colour profile, white balance, frame rates, and backups. 

Post-Production

• Edit branded films and short-form content, from story cut to fine cut to final output. 
• Handle basic colour correction/LUTs, audio levelling, music placement, and basic motion graphics/titles. 
• Optimize exports for multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram/Reels, and OTT specifications (if needed). 
• Maintain organized project workflows, including folders, proxies, backups, and versioning. 

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DOP/camera operator for branded content and/or short films. 
• Editing experience with Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro (expertise in any one; more is a plus). 
• Strong understanding of lighting (interiors/exteriors), composition, and visual storytelling. 
• Ability to work with fast turnarounds and manage multiple deliverables. 
• A portfolio showcasing both cinematography and edited work. 

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with DaVinci Resolve (colour), basic sound design, and simple motion graphics (After Effects). 
• Ability to work with a small crew or in run-and-gun setups. 
• Own gear (camera/lenses/lights) or access to reliable rentals (please specify).
