Head of Field Sales


What you will be doing

  • Develop and execute a

    comprehensive field sales strategy

    to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Build, lead, and inspire a

    high-performance field sales team of 200+ people

    , fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Drive

    on-ground execution

    through robust daily, weekly, and monthly sales rhythms
  • Establish

    clear performance metrics

    and ensure consistent achievement across regions
  • Build deep and lasting

    relationships with key customers, retail partners, and business influencers

  • Monitor and analyse

    sales performance data

    to identify opportunities, challenges, and corrective measures
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market plans
  • Design and oversee

    sales incentive programs

    that drive motivation and performance
  • Manage and optimise the

    sales budget

    in line with company financial goals
  • Develop and implement

    structured onboarding and sales training programs

    to continuously upskill the salesforce
  • Ensure strict adherence to

    company policies, processes, and compliance requirements

  • Present

    sales performance reports, market insights, and growth recommendations

    to the executive leadership team


What you will need

  • 12–15+ years

    of progressive sales leadership experience in high-growth product-based startups or large-scale organisations
  • Proven track record of

    managing and scaling field sales teams of 200+ people

  • Experience managing

    ₹50 Cr+ annual net revenue

    in a competitive market
  • Strong

    analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

  • Deep understanding of

    sales funnels, productivity metrics, and revenue forecasting

  • Excellent

    stakeholder management and leadership skills

  • Ability to thrive in a

    fast-paced, high-growth environment

    while keeping operational discipline intact
