Head of Buying & Brand Management, Womens International Apparel


Position Overview

We are looking for a senior leader who comes with strong offline experience to lead brand

management for our Women's Western International Brand.


  • You

    must possess direct, recent offline buying experience

    specifically within

    Women's Private Label Brands

    . This expertise must cover the

    international/ luxury/ Women's western wear

    segments. Candidates without this exact background cannot be considered.
  • 15+ years of experience with Apparel Buying & Merchandising Background


This is a strategic brand management role which requires the incumbent to lead and take end to end accountability to strengthen the brand in the country across all channels. This would involve buying ,merchandising and operations for both Online and Offline channels for Mango (Men, Women, Kids) . This role requires extensive collaboration with the global brand team for product selection on a regular basis.


A comprehensive role which involves all aspects of business including Analytics, financial planning, range planning and managing direct and functional teams.



Responsibilities:

● Responsible to drive sales for the portfolio including

● Revenue

● Margins

● Growth of categories

● Working with Operations team of Offline and demand planning team for Online Sales

● Range Planning (Assortment)

● Product-Brand mapping

● Product range planning for the category Planning

● Effectively planning and forecasting in order to maximize profitability

● Trend forecasts and implement sale plans

● Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount and Inventory related analysis

● Option planning

● OTB working along with the central planning team

● Inventory Management

● Planning for the inventory flow for entire category

● Team Management

● Leading a team of buyers to manage the Apparel buying

● Supply Chain

● Enabling an optimal supply chain ecosystem for the brand

● Coordinating with all functional teams to ensure and deliver Business Growth & margins


Qualifications & Experience

● 15+ years of experience with Apparel Buying & Merchandising Background

● Experience as a mix of online & offline would be recommended. Offline experience is a

must.

● Product Selection experience for Western Womenswear/ Menswear/ Kidswear categories

● Excellent with numbers and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.

● Strong communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with Senior stakeholders,

peers & juniors

● Strong team building & team management skills.
