What You Will Do:

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and build the

  Direct Tax practice

  for Bangalore and South India.
• Provide strategic direction, drive quality, and shape the regions tax agenda.
• Work closely with Founders and the leadership team on regional strategy, performance, and expansion.
  

Client Advisory & Delivery

• Advise clients on complex tax matters, structuring, planning, assessments, and litigation.
• Lead engagements end-to-end with complete ownership of outcomes.
• Strengthen and deepen client relationships across industries.
  

Business Development

• Drive regional

  P&L

  , new client acquisition, and market presence.
• Represent the firm at tax forums, events, and professional bodies.
• Unlock cross-selling and multi-service collaboration opportunities.
  

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of tax professionals.
• Foster capability development, retention, and succession planning.
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations.
• Ensure client and firm-wide tax compliance.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks while creating robust tax strategies.
  

What Were Looking For

• Qualified CA

  with

  10+ years

  in

  Direct Tax

  .
• Strong exposure to

  tax advisory, litigation, compliance, assessments

  , and client handling.
• Experience in

  business development

  and leading large tax engagements.
• Ability to manage teams, deadlines, and multiple clients independently.
• Entrepreneurial, driven, and capable of building a region from ground up.
• Willingness to

  travel to Mumbai HQ

  for leadership and strategy meetings.
