Trader - Ores & Semi-Finished Metal Products

Gurgaon

About the Company:

A trading & supply chain company with global presence across metals, ores, recycled materials and energy, leveraging technology to improve transparency and efficiency in traditional commodity markets.

Role Overview:

Trader Ores & Semis

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and structure profitable trades in ores and semi-finished metal products
Build and manage domestic and international supplier and buyer networks
Negotiate commercial contracts, payment and delivery terms
Track global commodity markets, price trends and demand/supply dynamics
Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth execution
Manage credit and operational risks associated with trades
Identify new products, regions or clients to expand trading scope
Contribute to monthly P&L targets and performance analysis

What Were Looking For:

Trading experience in ores, minerals, concentrates and/or semis (billets, slabs, rods, etc.)
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Market intelligence and risk management mindset
Ability to build and maintain long-term supplier and customer relationships
Experience in domestic and/or export markets
Proactive, analytical and collaborative approach
