Dimesnsional Testing Quality Engineer (Machine Shop)

We are looking for an experienced Dimensional Testing Quality Engineer to join our machine shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our machined products by conducting comprehensive dimensional testing to ensure the accuracy of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances. The candidate should have experience with testing tools, equipment, and processes, as well as experience in analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive dimensional testing to ensure the accuracy of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances of machined products
• Collaborate with the machining team to identify and resolve quality issues
• Analyze test data and generate reports to identify trends and potential issues
• Develop and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce defects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain testing equipment and tools and ensure they are calibrated properly
• Provide guidance and training to machinists on quality control processes and procedures
• Continuously improve the quality control process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dimensional testing or quality engineering in a

machine shop environment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to machined products
