Penguin, a reputed manufacturer of Oil and Gas Downhole Completion Accessories and Artificial Lift products, is seeking dynamic and skilled Mechanical Engineers to join our innovative Design and Development team. Be part of a leading organization driving excellence in the Oil and Gas upstream product segment! Job Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality downhole completion accessories and metallic components. Create and optimize 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks. Conduct design calculations and, when applicable, perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for static and dynamic stress analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs. Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and product performance. Required Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering . 3-6 years of experience in a design and development (product development) role, preferably in the Oil and Gas upstream product segment . Candidates without Oil and Gas experience but meeting other requirements are welcome to apply. Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, and drafting. Proven experience in designing and developing metallic components . Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and product development lifecycle. Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for static and dynamic stress analysis, with the ability to develop design calculations . Knowledge of metallurgy and corrosion resistance relevant to Oil and Gas applications. Exposure to machining processes and machine shop activities , with familiarity in manufacturing techniques.
