About the Role

Salesforce Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for Salesforce Service Cloud features (Case Management, Omnichannel, Knowledge, Live Agent, CTI, Communities).
Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT support, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure complete test coverage for user stories.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Contribute to test automation using Salesforce-specific tools (e.g., Copado Robotic Testing).
Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Review technical designs and provide feedback for improved testability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
6+ years of experience testing Salesforce applications, particularly Service Cloud.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities, data model, and customization.
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) for integrated systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional Agile teams.

Preferred Certifications

Salesforce Certified Administrator
ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level or higher)
Certification in test automation tools
