The Digital Workspace Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's digital workspace environment, including collaboration tools, communication platforms, End Point Management, Virtual Deskopt Infrastructure and productivity software. This role involves managing and optimizing these tools to enhance employee productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure a seamless user experience. The lead will work closely with various business functions to align digital workspace solutions with business needs and to support remote and hybrid working models. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of digital workspace tools, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure. Experience with incident management, problem resolution, and change management. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements. Tools and technologies: Azure VDI Citrix Mobile Device Management End Point Support (Laptop, Desktop, Thin Clients) M365 Microsoft Intune Management Key Responsibilities:Digital Workspace Management:Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of digital workspace tools, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Windows End point, Laptops, Desktops, Thin Clients, and other collaboration platforms. Operational Leadership:Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for the operational support of digital workspace technologies. Provide direction, mentorship, and training to ensure high performance. User Experience Optimization:Continuously monitor and improve the user experience of digital workspace tools by gathering feedback, analyzing usage patterns, and implementing necessary changes. Security and Compliance:Ensure that all digital workspace tools adhere to the organizations security policies and compliance standards. Work with the IT security team to address vulnerabilities and implement best practices. Incident and Problem Management:Manage and resolve incidents related to digital workspace tools, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders. Identify recurring issues and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences. Vendor Management:Liaise with external vendors and service providers to manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and resolve any issues related to digital workspace tools. Strategy and Planning:Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the digital workspace strategy. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement. Training and Support:Develop and deliver training programs for employees to maximize the effective use of digital workspace tools. Provide ongoing support and resources to help employees adapt to new technologies. Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure that digital workspace tools align with organizational goals and support remote and hybrid work models. Reporting and Analytics:Generate regular reports on the performance, usage, and efficiency of digital workspace tools. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for further optimization.
