Digital Media Coordinator

The Digital Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the school’s website and official social media platforms to strengthen the institution’s digital presence. The role involves content creation, regular updates, engagement strategies, and performance tracking to effectively showcase the school’s activities, achievements, and initiatives while engaging with students, parents, alumni, and the wider community.

Responsibilities

• Manage, update, and maintain the school website with timely and accurate content (events, announcements, circulars, achievements, academic information, etc.).

• Design and execute digital media campaigns to promote school programs, events, and initiatives.

• Manage and monitor official social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).

• Create engaging multimedia content (posts, graphics, videos, reels, newsletters) tailored to different platforms.

• Coordinate with school departments and management to collect and curate content.

• Track and analyse digital analytics/metrics to measure performance and suggest improvements.

• Ensure consistency of the school’s brand voice and messaging across all platforms.

• Respond promptly to online queries and interactions to ensure strong audience engagement.

• Stay updated with the latest digital trends, tools, and best practices in education branding and marketing.

• Support live coverage of events (photography, videography, live streaming).

• Ensure the website and social media platforms comply with data security, privacy, and child protection guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, IT, CS, B.E. BCA or any related field.

• Proven experience in website management and social media handling (preferably in an educational setup).

• Proficiency in CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and knowledge of basic HTML/CSS.
